Like the Celtic Peacocks and the Celtic Bird, the Eagle was inspired by the Book of Kells. The Eagle represents the Evangelist, St. John and is a theme found throughout the manuscripts. It is a simple design sewn in rich wools on a dark red background. This design can be sewn either as a circle or as a square; the charts for both are in the kit.
Sewn using Victorian cross stitch, no need for a frame.
